However, if you are using your plan for data backup, you must use incremental backup software. Incremental software copies only the changed files each night, rather than all files, thus saving network bandwidth. If you need help choosing software or getting it setup, please contact us. (2) FTP Storage Plans include the ability to create unlimited user sub-accounts, and restrict access to certain sub-directories. Remote Backup Plans come with one master account, and do not allow the creation of any sub-accounts. See the FAQ for more information. (3) FTP Storage Servers have been specially optimized to for high-capacity,high-speed data transfer, and are guaranteed to produce better than 200KB transfer speeds assuming 1) you are in the Continental US, and 2) you have a connection with upstream bandwidth greater than 200KB/sec. Remote Backup Servers, while fast, do not offer a transfer speed guarantee.
